This week, Team x-Mobility had the pleasure of attending the MVNOs World Congress in the beautiful city of Amsterdam. The event proved to be insightful, productive, and truly global.
Based in the stunning Hotel Okura Amsterdam, in the cosmopolitan De Pijp neighbourhood, we had a positive and informative week, filled with deal-making, discussions around eSIM technology, and diverse delegates, from Dubai to Mexico and everywhere in-between.
A significant theme of the congress was the rising prominence of eSIM technology, front and centre of the MVNO ecosystem. We were fortunate to meet a true pioneer of the industry, Mr. Thomas Larsson, from Giesecke+Devrient, who invented the eSIM back in 2011. With this in mind, it's great to see global brands like WizzAir and Uber finally embracing the possibilities of eSIM.

We were thrilled on behalf of Three Wholesale, who took home the award for Host Operator of the Year at the MVNOs Awards. We've been a technology partner of Three for well over a decade now, so if your business is powered by x-Mobility, you know we only partner with the very best.

Our very own Shanks Kulam, put the speed into Speed Networking, completing an early morning networking 5km with Christopher Lycett from from our event hosts, Informa Tech.
Attending the MVNOs World Congress in Amsterdam proved to be a great experience. The event demonstrated that the MVNO ecosystem is evolving, with new opportunities emerging for industry players to collaborate, innovate, and reshape the telecommunications landscape. As the industry continues to mature, events like the MVNOs World Congress will remain essential in fostering knowledge-sharing, partnership-building, and driving the future growth of the MVNO sector.
Team x-Mobility very much look forward to more events this year. If we didn't get a chance to chat this time, or you'd like to arrange a meeting next time, get in touch with the global MVNO, eSIM and Virtual Number experts.
